APIIT- Sri Lanka takes the pride in sponsoring Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2008 held on 11th, 12th and 13th of August, with the objective of creating youth awareness on global issues such as education, human rights, gender, environment and giving them an opportunity to voice their views and learn from the dialogue forums and at the same time propose solutions to address the issues discussed.

The MUN conference held this year emerges from UNA Study Circle, Ananda College. This will be a perfect avenue for the young minds to compete with one another, in an attempt of proving the best of best. Comprising both rural village schools to international schools around the world, SLMUN 2008 would mark the beginning of a new era in the legacy of humanity filled with morality. It would create a revolution that modifies the conceptions of peacefulness and freedom.
